A high quality pair of silver Victorian entree dishes of shaped over form. Each rim decorated with reeded borders interspersed with floral palmettes. The lid with conforming decoration. The handles of star form floral pattern and conforming loop  handles.
 
Clearly marked for London 1896 by Hancock’s and Co.
 
A delightful pair of serving dishes of very good robust gauge silver. No damage or repairs and in first class original condition. Both with well fitting twist off handles. Each dish marked to both top and bottom with number 1 or 2. All the parts are clearly hallmarked.
 
Hancock’s and Company were important and highly regarded makers and retailers who operated from Bruton St. London.
 
These are an extremely good pair of Victorian dishes of the highest quality.
