An Exceptional Set of Four Victorian Silver Candlesticks and Candelabra Sheffield 1880, Hawksworth and Eyre

A set of four Victorian silver candlesticks in Adams style with square tapered stems and gadrooned urn shaped capitals. The stepped bases decorated with beaded edges and garland of flowers. This motif is repeated at the base of the stem and the flared plinth beneath the capital.  Conforming circular sconces. The candelabra with beaded decoration and reeded scrolling branches  and detachable shaped finial. 
 
 All the parts are identically marked for Hawksworth and Eyre Sheffield 1880 - JKB for James Kebberling Bembridge, managing director.  Marked to the base of each candlestick, to each sconce and to the underside of the scrolling arms. 
 
 All the sticks are in good condition with very minor signs of wear. All the sconces and the candelabra itself are in good order with no damage or repair. Baize covered bases.
 
 This is an extremely attractive and highly unusual set of four candlesticks and candelabra combination. Very elegant and of superb design and execution. All the candlesticks are loaded and the candelabra is solid silver.
 
Base of each stick:  4 1/4 inches or 11 cm Square 
Height of each stick:  11 inches or 28 cm 
Height of candelabra when inserted:  16 1/4 inches or 41 cm 
Weight of all sconces and Candelabra:  1388 g or 49 ounces 
Weight of candlesticks without sconces:   3331 g or 117.5 oz
