A Superb Georgian Silver Entree Dish London 1814
 
 Superb George III silver entree dish of rectangular cushion form with ornate  scrolled, stiff leaf and gadrooned borders. The handle of cast leaf,  scroll and shell form .
 
 Mark to both the base and the cover for London 1814 by William Elliot. The cast silver handle is also marked with the maker's mark and the lion passant and duty mark. 
 
 This is a wonderful piece of early George III silver  in superb original condition with only very minor signs of wear and no damage or repair. The lid, the base and the handle all have a number 1 on them. The hallmarks to the lid and base are a little worn but still clearly legible.  Wonderful colour and patina.
