A good quality George III solid silver entree dish of shaped rectangular cushion form.
Decorated with gadrooned borders to base and cover. The removable cast silver handle decorated with matching decoration.
 
Clearly hallmarked for London 1813 by William Bateman to the base and lid.
The base, lid and handle are marked with 3.
 
This entree dish is in lovely condition with no erasures.
Very good gauge silver with only the usual very minor marks from use. Hallmarks are all clear though a little rubbed.
The lid sits well on the base and the removable handle fits the lid snuggly and is in superb order. 
Lovely colour and patina.
