An early Georgian silver salver of shaped circular form. The rim with shell decoration and the central plate engraved with floral arabesques about a central crest. The whole standing on three scrolling hoof feet.
Marked to the underside for London 1740 by the renowned specialist salver maker, Robert Abercromby.
A very good small salver with no damage or repairs in original condition. Good robust silver and lovely colour and patina. Hallmarks clear with very little wear.
