A very good pair of silver table candlesticks in early 18C style. Fluted and knopped columns rising above a petal form base with shell corners. Conforming sconces.
Both bases and sconces marked for Sheffield 1839 by Samuel Walker and Co.
These candlesticks are in excellent original condition, there are no signs of damage or repair. Both stand true on a tabletop and the hallmarks clearly legible to both pieces. Original weighted bottoms. Very attractive pair in traditional 18C style.
