A Beautiful Pair of George III Wine Coasters, Robert Hennell, London 1779

£0

A very fine pair of silver wine coasters of circular form with pierced decorated sides and beaded borders, both with original wooden turned bases.

Each engraved with the Barker family crest. (see pictures)

Marked for London 1779 by Robert Hennell.

The pair are in very good condition with no repairs. Hallmarks are partially rubbed but still clear. (see photos)

These pair are of a very good gauge and weight with a beautiful colour and patina.

Wine coasters of this age and in this condition are very rare and these are truly wonderful and in remarkably fine condition.

They would make a beautiful addition to any collection.

Provenance: the property of the Raymond-Barker family late of Fairford Park Gloucestershire
