A Pair of Georgian Silver Wine/Bottle Coasters London 1768

£5,000
An unusually fine pair of pierced George III silver bottle coasters. With gadrooned waving top and trellis work sides. Turned wooden bases and baize covered bottoms.

Marked to the body for London 1768 by Henry Aldridge and Charles Green.

These are extremely attractive coasters in a very unusual pattern in first class order with no damage or repair. The hallmarks very clear and the two coasters are exceptionally well preserved.
